Two Versions:-
Year 2001 gold sovereigns have been produced by the mint in two versions, ordinary uncirculated "bullion" grade, and "proofs" for sale to collectors.

Uncirculated "Bullion" Version - In Stock Now
This will be only the second time since 1982 that ordinary bullion sovereigns have been produced. The 2000 millennium year sovereigns were very popular, and we believe the Royal Mint will continue to issue bullion sovereigns for a number of years.
We have official confirmation that the issue limit will be 100,000 pieces, year 2000 at 250,000 was the lowest, apart from proof versions, for over 100 years.
2001 half sovereigns also available.

Bullion (Uncirculated) Version
We now have these in stock for immediate delivery and are now accepting orders at our low, tax free gold prices, with quantity discounts available.

Proof Version
We have the proof versions in stock for immediate delivery, having received our first delivery on 23rd April.

Price Guarantee
The official Royal Mint issue price was originally £129.95, and we were originally £125 each. They are no longer available at these original prices, but please see below for current pricing.

Highest Ever Sterling Gold Price
Writing this on March 17th 2008 gold has just reached its' highest ever gold price in Sterling. Obviously this affects the price of our gold products so we have had to increase our uncirculated sovereign prices accordingly. The prices shown below are semi-fixed but should gold fluctuate dramatically in either direction we may have to adjust the prices once again.
