2005 Britannias - Prediction - October 2004
We expected to see a new one-off design for 2005 (uncirculated) gold bullion Britannias, and guessed correctly.
We intend to stock these once they are released. The release date could be anybody's guess, ours is August 2005 or later, possibly much later.
Pre-Release Prices
The prices shown in the table below are our expected post-release prices. We are happy to accept advance orders, with a 10% deposit, at a 10% discount on our normal prices. Because gold bullion prices fluctuate, we may have to change our post-release prices. If we need to increase our pre-release prices, you can cancel and your deposit will be refunded. This is to protect you and us against major gold bullion price swings, and is similar to the price guarantee we have operated successfully for the past five years, so far without needing to operate the increase clause.

Editing this page in April 2006, there were still no signs of any. As the 1997 bullion Britannias were not released until 2003, and then only as part of an overpriced Royal Mint "type collection", we would not be surprised if they were not issued for another 6 years or so, only time will tell, we are sure the Royal Mint won't, even if they know!
