After the special one-year-only design in 2005, half sovereigns and sovereigns will revert to the traditional reverse design of St. George slaying the dragon.

Proofs - Still Available
For 2006 the Issue limit has been reduced to 5,000.
We already have the uncirculated (bullion) version in stock.
The Royal Mint's price on the proof version has already been increased from £89.50 to £91.50, even before the coins have been released, as we predicted, but earlier even than we expected! As at early April, the Mint price has increased to £96.50 each.
