This year's - 2007 - sovereigns and half sovereigns have the familiar and historic St. George and Dragon reverse, although we still have stocks of the 2005 issue with the one-off St. George and dragon reverse.
Changes!
It appears that the reverse dies for sovereigns, half sovereigns, double sovereigns and quintuple sovereigns have been remastered and recut in 2007. See our 2007 sovereigns page of our Gold Sovereigns website for more information.
Bullion (Uncirculated) Version
These arrived into stock as expected direct from the Royal Mint on Thursday 4th January 2007, and are still offering advance order prices as usual.

The issue limit is expected to be 12,500 of the proof version.
Issue Limits - Uncirculated Version
For 2005, the issue limit was only 75,000, the lowest bullion sovereign mintage for over 120 years. We expect the issue limit for 2007 to be similar.
Highest Ever Sterling Gold Price
Writing this on January 17th 2008 gold has just reached its' highest ever gold price in Sterling. Obviously this affects the price of our gold products so we have had to increase our uncirculated sovereign prices accordingly. The prices shown below are semi-fixed but should gold fluctuate dramatically in either direction we may have to adjust the prices once again.
