New Recut Reverse Dies
On this page, we show actual photographs of 2009, 2008, and 2007 sovereign reverses.
Sovereign and half sovereign dies have been remastered this year. Most of the changes which apply to the full sovereign also apply to the half sovereign.
We will add further comments here soon.

We have both the uncirculated (bullion) version in stock now (13th January 2009) for immediate delivery, and expect the proof version about one week later.
This year's - 2009 - sovereigns and half sovereigns have an updated version of the familiar and historic St. George and Dragon reverse, although we still have stocks of the 2008 issue.

Changes!
The reverse dies for sovereigns, half sovereigns, double sovereigns and quintuple sovereigns were remastered and recut in 2007. See our 2007 sovereigns page of our Gold Sovereigns website for more information. The 2009 designs are expected to be similar.
