Description
Most of the San Marino 2 scudo coins have a new obverse and reverse design each year, as they are issued mainly for collectors. We will not try to describe all of them, although we intend to add more photographs when time permits, meanwhile we give a brief description of the:-

1975 Due Scudi
Obverse
An interpretation of the coat of arms of San Marino, the three towers on a shield surmounted by a crown and within a laurel wreath, and LIBERTAS below on a scroll. The inscription RESPUBLICA S. MARINI and the date 1975 appear around the border.

Reverse
The standing figure of Saint Marinus holding a scroll on which is written is written the word LIBERTAS, the inscription reads RELINQUO VOS LIBEROS AB UTROQUE HOMINE (I am setting you free from any other man), with DUE SCUDI on the exergue.
