2011 Manx Gold Crowns
2011 Turkish Angora Cats
The 2011 gold crowns from the Isle of Man features two Turkish Angora cats on their reverse design. These are part of the popular cat series of coins, probably started by the Manx cat originally featured some years ago.
Manx Cat Series
Since the release of the first coin in 1988, the Isle of Man Manx Cat series has become one of the most popular gold bullion series in the world. Each coin has depicted a cat and / or kitten and 2010 sees the issue of another wonderful coin, this time depicting a Abyssinian cat and her kitten.
Turkish Angora Cats
The Turkish Angora cat is an old breed, named after the Turkish Capital of Angora (now Ankara). These cats are very affectionate and require a lot of attention. The design features two Turkish Angora cats, one lay in front of the other.
