Gold Coins of Switzerland
Swiss 250 Francs
In 1991, Switzerland issued a commemorative gold 250 franc coin to commemorate the 700th anniversary of Confederation.
These are unusual in that their face value exceeds the intrinsic value of their gold content. This only occurs in a very small percentage of coins.
Because of this, we sell these particular coins based on their spot foreign exchange value.
