2009 One Ounce Gold Britannias
We have just managed to buy a small quantity of 2009 (uncirculated) gold bullion Britannias. This year's coins have the chariot design, last seen in 1999. We do not know the issue limits for these coins but we do expect them to be very popular, as it is only the second time a gold bullion Britannia has been issued during the year on the coin since 2003.

Dates with a unique design always seem to be quite popular with collectors as it is usually much easier to collect coins by type rather than date - especially with coins from the Royal Mint such as bullion Britannias as we never know if / when they will be released! The 1997 gold bullion Britannias were not released until 2003, and then only as part of the Royal Mint Type Set.

One Ounce Gold Bullion Britannias In Stock End Now!
After a lot of hard work and negotiation, we have just agreed a deal with the Royal Mint to supply us with several thousand one ounce gold bullion Britannias over the coming months. At the moment we are only able to buy 2009 Britannias at a premium to bullion britannias. Next year (2010) we should be able to get these at the same premium as bullion britannias.

If you like the design on the 2009 gold Britannia or the date means something to you, we would recommend you consider buying one sooner rather than later as we are anticipating high demand.
